Atlanta named city to watch in PWC’s Emerging Trends in Real Estate report
As we reflect on a year of continued success and look forward to 2024, we’re excited to watch new commercial projects emerge throughout the Atlanta area. In researching and identifying trends within commercial real estate to prepare for 2024, we’re thrilled to share that Atlanta was named a top city to watch for real estate in 2024 in a recent report by PWC.
The Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2024 report by PWC examined macro market trends, predicting interest rate uncertainty, amongst other economic trends, while claiming that “the worst inflation is behind us.” The brief also looked at a geographic breakdown of the 2024 real estate market, identifying regions and cities where commercial and residential real estate are expected to prosper. Amongst these regions is the Sun Belt, the southern region of the United States, covering the eastern to western coasts. Home to seven of the other “2024 U.S. Markets to Watch,” including three cities in the Southeast, the Sun Belt’s real estate market is expected to outperform other areas of the United States.
The full list of U.S. cities to watch in 2024 includes the following:
Nashville, Tennessee
Phoenix, Arizona
Dalla Ft. Worth, Texas
Atlanta, Georgia
Austin, Texas
San Diego, California
Boston, Massachusetts
San Antonio, Texas
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina
Seattle, Washington
Situated at number four for both overall and home construction real estate, Atlanta’s 2024 real estate market is expected to thrive in both residential and commercial sectors. As a leading player in Atlanta’s commercial real estate market, serving Atlanta and surrounding areas, while offering premium office space and developable lots and lands, we are thrilled to play a role in this market expansion.
